Read: 1 John 4:7-18~This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. -John15:12"Sometimes love sure hurts!" The mother & father were expressing the difficulties & heartaches of guiding their children through their teen years. "Maybe if we didn't love them quite so much it wouldn't be so hard,"the man added.
Even though love brings pain and sorrow, what would life be without it? In this book The Four Loves C.S. Lewis wrote:
"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully around with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness....The only place outside heaven where u can be perfectly safe from all dangers...of love is hell."
To love is to take risks, to expose our hearts. Sometimes it hurts! It hurt Jesus Christ, but He kept on loving-even at the cost of His life. And He ask us to "love another as I have loved you"(John15:12).Truly loving that spouse, the teenager, that neighbour, that colleague is Christlike, and it's better than locking your heart in the coffin of self-centeredness.-Dave Egner

In verse 10, we see the wrd propitiation. This is a key wrd in theology to describe what Christ did on the cross. It means that He satisfied God's justifiable anger at human sin. This tells us how deeply we are loved by Christ, that He would take all of God's anger at our sin, so that we can be free to experience God's great and awesome love.hmm..after i read tiz i felt..yahs agree is quite true..and read the given verse..wow..yahs..we created being loved..God's love abide in us..yahs..haf u been hurt..recal nw by closing ya eye..mst of the time..the hurt-est ting.."is nt insult from others or scolding"(by NoRmAl ppl)..or watever but...loving ppl..it hurts when they hurt u..and esp from a beloved 1..they scold u..u will feel so hurt rather then like..u noe scolding from tcher...lol...yahs..and can u count hw mani love ones u hurt...uncountable..but de mst u hurt..is God...did u realise?...i dunoe abt u..for me..i tink for nw i hurt de mst is God..n grief the Holy Spirit..hwever..He keep loving us..and His promises..mercy and grace..and great love..we r alwaz forgiven...n i realli wana Thank God..for being there all de times..all we haf nw..is God's..n he alreadi gave us everything..including His life...wat can we give 2 Him???...we r nt worthly for Him 2 die for us...who r we???...coz of tiz unfailing LOVE..and magnificant...wonderful..love...he willing..juzz like de story at ber's blog...He paid de price...He is on de cross...i m embraced in His love..oh nooo..i m in love wif God...arhhh..i m mad..k..lol..yahs..i realli love God..n u can felt de love...whenever u feel empty, alone, down..etc...ever since i found God..i nvr felt that..coz i alwaz feel that He is holding ma hand and nvr let go...sometimes..when i go 2 sch alone..i will praise n worship Him in ma heart n i will b sooooo happi...coz i was hoping 2 sch..urm..if u dunoe then nvrm...yahs..n i can feel like some1 who loves me alot is holding ma hand tight..n i will juz like u noe..de feeling so strong..that i wil juz like holding de air tight n hop 2 ma sch..wif happi..monkey face as usual..haha..n i felt love..i wan 2 tell ppl alwaz de love..but i prayed hard that i can express His great love coz i wan 2 share..n save de lost...they deserve a chance...alwaz remember ma previous blog abt..Jesus calling names..u noe..each n eery is love..will nt b shared..u noe..k nvrm..u can alwaz go find..if i nt rong titlt shld b the Lord's shepard or smt like dat...enjoy... :D
